About The Systems

Many of society's problems are not caused by a lack of effort, intelligence or technology.

They persist because systems are fragmented, incentives are misaligned, information is trapped and human experience is treated as separate from operational design.

Joakim works across system architecture, integrations, technology, product thinking, artificial intelligence and human-centred design.

His role is not to become the greatest specialist in every discipline. His role is to understand how the parts connect, ask better questions, define coherent systems and bring together people whose abilities complement one another.

I see my role as a systems builder. I want to understand complex problems, find the patterns beneath them and assemble the people capable of solving them.

My responsibility is to protect the coherence of the whole:

• and the long-term direction.
